Our region offers many possibilities from walking in a quiet forest or large fields, to hiking in more hilly areas. You can easily connect from village to village by foot, using easy maps to find your way around. If you are less adventurous you can explore the villages by car. You can find very interesting remains of past civilizations.

The Giant Tomb

The river dug its way through the sediment and carved this majestic formation.

Trees have grown over it and the final shape resembles a tomb, of course a Giant one...

Miles and miles of fields, splendid easy walks or more adventurous ones through the forests, many have been carefully marked for your own safety.

Near a very old water powered mill, the river carved a long beach-like area where you can organize a picnic, spend an afternoon sunbathing or swimming in the river. There are also many places where you can rent a kayak. You can embark on a journey following the river through its turns in the forest, quite possibly one of the nicest memories you can create.
