Mother and Daughter
Lysiane and Jean opened La Hutte Lurette in Paliseul in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes in 1984. Since then, the restaurant and the hotel have continued to developp to offer you ever more comfort and good taste.
A well-know establishment in the region, La Hutte Lurette is now masterfully managed by Lysiane and Julie, her daughter.
Jean unfortunately left us in 2017 but he continues to watch over his family from up there.
Authenticity, tradition and generosity are all words that will follow you throughout your stay in our warm and authentic hotel restaurant.

The Legend of the Hutte Lurette
In the 17th century, the great plague ravaged the whole region. There were ruins of the abandoned village of Bergimont near the Paliseul station.
Here, in this precise place, lived, in a hut, an old lady who was bringing help and food to the unfortunates strucked by the plague.
Her name was Lurette.
In memory of her, the place has always been called La Hutte Lurette
